My Story
Hi!

Thank you for visiting my website :) My name is D.E.Kendall and I am an author from Cardiff, Wales.
I cannot begin to describe just how grateful I am for the unending support of my wonderful family, marvellous boyfriend, fantastic friends, and of course, my awesome readers!
​
My family doesn't just consist of humans! My family is also filled with the loveliest, most beautiful animals in the universe (I am biased) - many of whom have been rescued :) Said animals inspire my writing, as you've probably already noticed from glancing at this web-page.
​
I never believed my writing worthy of publication, until my Grandfather (who barely read road signs, let alone novels) happened to pick up the raw manuscript for 'Larry' and thoroughly enjoyed it. He encouraged me to try getting it published. The day he passed away in December 2014, I was contacted by a publishing company. It felt like fate.
​
So here I am today!
​
It would be my ultimate dream come true to be able to write for a living - to make a difference to the world for the better by inspiring kindness, compassion and joy.
​

* I have started work on a new series of YA sci-fi novels.
The first installment has been edited; so please keep an eye out for their release!
* Please remember that proceeds from 'The Wizard Chronicles' will be donated to
Friends of Cardiff Riding School fundraising group.

* I am hoping to start working on 'Memories of Cardiff Riding School' soon; a
compilation of happy memories from clients, volunteers, and staff of the riding school.
Just as with 'The Wizard Chronicles', royalties will be donated to Friends of Cardiff
Riding School fundraising group. If you have any special memories of Cardiff Riding

* I'm working on a book I started writing with my late Grandmother before she sadly passed away in August 2019. It will the story of her colourful life, which I hope will reflect her amazing character.
